My wife, Abby and I live in Portland, Oregon with our sons, Rowan (born 2006) and Quillan (born 2009). I work as the Executive Director of Johnson Creek Watershed Council, a small environmental non-profit.
I started writing children’s songs in 2008, shortly before Rowan was born. Lately, I’ve been enjoying the small but growing community of KindieRock PDX – independent kids and family music performers in Portland. When I’m not playing music, I enjoy traveling, bird watching, skiing, and hiking.
Other tidbits about me: I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras in the 1990s, and in high school, I won a pair of skis in a pie-eating contest.
